3. Payment and Issue of Demand Notice
If the site survey is successful, MEPCO will issue a Demand Notice. This is the official payment receipt.
- What’s included: The security deposit, meter cost and service line expenses.
- Payment: This can be paid at designated banks or via online banking/fintech apps (EasyPaisa, JazzCash).

Frequently Asked Questions
Once I submit the application, can I change my load requirement?
When the demand notice is given, if the load has to be changed, the estimate has to be revised and that can delay the process. It is best to have your load (Total Watts / 1000) right before you apply.
What if there is no existing MEPCO pole in my area?
This is known as a “Extension of Load.” You may be asked to pay for the installation of new poles or a transformer, which will be specified in your Demand Notice.
How can I tell whether my Demand Notice is real?
Always download your Demand Notice directly from the official MEPCO/ENC website. Genuine notices have a unique tracking ID which corresponds to your online profile.
